We sell tools, not data. We have never sold a customer list and we're not going to — that's a written commitment, not a hedge.
No advertising cookies, no fingerprinting scripts, no session recording, no third-party ad network pixels. Your cart is stored in your own browser's local storage and never leaves your machine until you check out.
Four categories, and that's the whole list: our payment processor, our shipping carriers (address and phone for delivery), our email provider if you subscribed, and our accountant for tax records. Nobody else. No brokers, no "marketing partners".
Order records for seven years, because tax law requires it. Marketing emails until you unsubscribe. Analytics in aggregate for two years, then discarded.
Email info@grainforgetoolworks.click with the subject "delete my data". We'll remove everything except the order records tax law obliges us to retain, and confirm within five business days. You don't need to explain why.
You may request a copy of what we hold, correct it, or ask for deletion. If you're in California or the EU/UK, you have those rights under CCPA and GDPR respectively; we apply them to everyone regardless of where you live, because maintaining two standards is more work than just being decent.
TLS on every page, encrypted database at rest, two-factor on all staff accounts, and access limited to the people who need it. If we ever have a breach affecting your data, we'll email you directly rather than posting a notice and hoping.
This is a tool store for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
